@CanTrueCrime @MarkJCarney I took the plunge last year and got my first EV. 95% of my charging i do at home, overnight while I sleep. If I need to do a charge on the go, I hit fast charger and I need 10 min. Average it out and that is 10 min out of my schedule across 20 charges = 30 seconds average.

Spent some time while traveling re-reading the major speeches by @MarkJCarney and @PierrePoilievre The contrast between the two is very clear. Where Carney offers a diagnosis of global order, Poilievre offers a diagnosis of national decline. Carney’s message is rooted in geopolitics, rupture, and resilience, framing Canada’s challenge as adapting to a harsher, more unstable world. Poilievre frames the country’s problems as self-inflicted, the result of failed leadership, broken promises, and a weakened economy. I think these fundamentally different diagnoses will shape Canadian politics for a while and are influenced by the government vs opposition dynamic and we shouldn’t be surprised by that.
