@Fxg0dfan Yep, I know about font weights and serifs, what I was asking is what specific page from the books you found difficult? The photo I posted is not very accurate due to the camera used.

@Flipacholas For example, I can clearly and quickly read the text from the illustration at glance just from the thumbnail because of the weight and the lack of serifs (even if the text were smaller) The text from the page itself not as quickly nor as easily even after opening the full picture

Paperback and hardcover users: do you find the current font size too small or fine as it is? Some of the tools I use now default to a bigger font and this makes me wonder.

@Fxg0dfan I'm not sure I follow, do you have a specific page where it's difficult to read?

@Flipacholas I don't know how far you are in production but if I could change it I would give them 50% or more weight and choose a good sans-serif font instead. As much as I do like serif, they get too messy the more text gets written

@CreepNTech To be honest, I've always skipped the back because of lack of photos and interesting chips to show (on previous consoles). Maybe it's time to finally change that.

@nyaaasen @waefrebeorn That’s strange, it wasn’t the case when I ordered mine from the UK printer. But if that happens I’d return it and try another store, I can also post a copy from the UK

@Flipacholas @waefrebeorn I love the books and the online articles, but I wasn’t really impressed with Amazon’s print quality. Everything was washed out.

@peevishdave I think Amazon gives you 30 days to return it, so if that happens I suggest to return it and try with another store, or I can post you a copy from the UK

@Flipacholas thanks for confirming. it wasn't caused by the source material but by Amazon printing. Some images were unintelligible, the US version was ok.

@peevishdave Never had any complain from Italian sales. I don’t know about other books but I use 400dpi images, which is higher than the standard

@Flipacholas Hey! Have you any idea about Amazon's print quality in EU/Italy for this book? I ordered some stuff printed by Amazon in the past and the images and cover had awful resolution.
