This is mostly because it would be a nightmare for PlayStation studios to have to limit features in their games, and face optimization issues that may add unnecessary extra delays.

The actual point was the free money they made by doing so. It’s going to sell more copies over time. Personally I’m just glad they did because it runs flawlessly on my Pro. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about playing it on my Series X when it launched. I’m just happy to finally be able to enjoy it. I don’t know why everyone’s gotta hate on them for porting it.

By putting their games on other platforms they get the players that don’t pay for game pass. That’s extra money. How is that too difficult to understand?? Oh and they sell the games instead of renting them out with monthly fees. So yeah it’s still extra money… those numbers 👇 are just Starfield. As in Forza Horizon 5 and the others and Xbox is making tons of free money from PlayStation players.
