The frustrating part, is that I'm rather confident there is absolutely no way this kind of SNAP/EBT fraud is even remotely possible in most states... People will do shady things and game the system, we get that. But to not have adequate gov. procedures to prevent this stuff... is a massive lapse in judgement at the hands of the state government staff/politicians.

@KRobbinsMN The whole point of how the bail is set is to ensure the defendant follows through with court proceedings... In this case, logic would say, set bail at $11 Million, take away his passport, and put a GPS ankle monitor on him.... Whoever set that bail should be held accountable...

This is outrageous! The suspect fled the country before trial for stealing $11 million because the judge set an unconditional bond at $150K. We need MUCH tougher bail amounts/conditions and sentences if we are going to stop the fraud.
