Today, I’m announcing my candidacy for Florida’s 20th congressional district. I’ll continue to use my seniority in Washington to make Broward a safer, less expensive place to live, raise a family, and retire. We cannot let Trump and DeSantis take away Broward County’s power.

This morning, I joined @CityofTamarac and @cityofsunrise to recognize our fallen military heroes for Memorial Day. Forever grateful to the all brave Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

On Memorial Day, we reflect on the sacrifices our military heroes made for all of us. My thoughts and heart are with all the loved ones of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

When I recently joined King’s Point seniors, one man said he may need to return to work, due to sky high costs. Nobody should be forced out of retirement to make ends meet. I’m fighting to bring costs down to help Floridians like him.

Too many guns fall into the wrong hands and hateful rhetoric leaves us all less safe. We need increased nonprofit security grant funding to protect houses of worship from this type of horrific attack. My heart goes out to the victims, their families, and San Diego’s and America’s Muslim communities.

Trump is taking nearly $2 billion in taxpayer dollars to for violent insurrectionists and other cronies. This corruption has to end. While Trump prioritizes his political allies, Democrats are focused on making life affordable for all Americans.
