Today, we (@HackenProof) launched the first Dual Defense Audit Contest with staking in $wETH (accordingly, payouts to hackers for any discovered critical vulnerabilities will also be in $wETH). The staking rewards (160% APY) remain in $USDC, just like before. This is an experimental pool ahead of our upcoming plans and new services. Also, if you have a community and a token on @base, we can launch the next flash pool at @Hackpot_now specifically for your community. Now, a bit of statistics: 1) As of October 8, 2025, @HackenProof has already launched 39 DD Audit Contests following audits conducted by firms such as Hacken, Cyfrin, Halborn, and SoftStack (Just to clarify, this doesn’t necessarily mean that we have partnerships with each of these auditors, any company that has recently completed an audit can launch a Dual Defense on a code commit) 2) During this time, we’ve received over 600 good reports (excluding spam submissions) and helped identify critical vulnerabilities in 5 projects (more than 10 unique criticals, excluding duplicates). Three Dual Defense contests are still in triage, so these numbers may still change. 3) We’ve also paid out over $200,000 (in USDC equivalent) to hackers. 4) So far, users have staked over $1 million (around 60 million $HAI tokens). We’ve also paid out over 120,000 in USDC to stakers as APY rewards.
