@UsingLyft Imo assimilation doesn’t require total conformity. It’s more about adopting the ethical framework of the host country. For example, I wouldn’t consider being a practicing Muslim a breach but advocating sharia law would be.
English

I’m not trying to be funny here and I’m genuinely asking, but isn’t naming your kids something American part of assimilating? Or are there no American names because we’re just a melting pot? Again I’m really just asking please no Indians freak out
Priya Patel@priyaee
Friendly Reminder: Immigration without assimilation is invasion.

@Harryofthe @Mustardsportz Honestly Wallace Shawn looked pretty good for 43 when this was filmed.
English

This is a hilarious post because if you know who Daniel Cormier is it’s completely fine but if you don’t it seems like a post about being afraid of a random black guy

Prove me wrong
English

@Ms_JRabbit @UsingLyft You’re a moron. As has been explained, tics are often determined by what you most fear saying in a particular situation. If you can’t understand why someone with this condition would fear saying slurs in particular you’re not compassionate, you’re either stupid or a bigot.
English

@UsingLyft U r 100% right, I dont have to understand, and i never will understand ANY person callin some1 else a slur (racial, sexual, gender, etc) without them havin some sense of that hatred in their❤️ for the person/group of which they are callin it. Look at the hatred in my comments🤔🤷🏾♀️
English

NO. Im saying.....HE said the gay SLUR when the GAY MAN was on stage, he said the black SLUR when the black men were on stage. Meaning that when he saw them it was in his heart and MIND, it "tic'd" at that moment. He didnt shout a slur when a woman was up there? A white man?🤔
Pay Roll Manager Here@UsingLyft
@Ms_JRabbit You think he can’t know the word? What exactly are you arguing? He shouldn’t have the word in his memory?
English

@yaitsbrodie @MasonYKB @NoOneNY1980 @Pintobean127 @Shoowtime_1 @_lukeoutbelow All good man, just try to do better!
English

@Harryofthe @MasonYKB @NoOneNY1980 @Pintobean127 @Shoowtime_1 @_lukeoutbelow Just cause you don’t understand my statement doesn’t mean it’s an argument.
Most qbs don’t make it back and the ones that do don’t win unless you’re one of 3 guys.
Not very hard to understand.
But good day to you.
English

Correct me if I’m wrong but is that list not literally 1 other guy? Lmfao
Underdog@Underdog
No QB who lost the Super Bowl in their 2nd year has ever returned to the Super Bowl.
English

@yaitsbrodie @MasonYKB @NoOneNY1980 @Pintobean127 @Shoowtime_1 @_lukeoutbelow Nw just try to make better arguments next time ❤️
English

@yaitsbrodie @MasonYKB @NoOneNY1980 @Pintobean127 @Shoowtime_1 @_lukeoutbelow Not seeing the relevance here tbh
English

@Harryofthe @MasonYKB @NoOneNY1980 @Pintobean127 @Shoowtime_1 @_lukeoutbelow And the same number of quarterbacks who lost and were able to come back and win.
5

English

@kmele @UsingLyft Words themselves are abstractions tho. Or are you disagreeing w “all things” being abstractions? Like the word earth is an abstraction but the earth itself is not?
English

LMAO how do you watch that game and think “yeah we’re nearly as good as them”
Dave Portnoy@stoolpresidente
I haven’t stopped thinking about the Super Bowl and I just gotta say something. If we play them 100 times I think we win 46 of them.
English

@yaitsbrodie @MasonYKB @NoOneNY1980 @Pintobean127 @Shoowtime_1 @_lukeoutbelow The validity isn’t really effected by the relative prevalence, 5 isn’t a big enough number to draw conclusions with, though this guy is coping hard and the bigger issue isnt that he lost but that he looked horrendous the entire playoffs.
English

@MasonYKB @NoOneNY1980 @Pintobean127 @Shoowtime_1 @_lukeoutbelow Eh 5/60 isn’t that small.
12% is a decent sample for something so statistically hard to make it too.
English

@GR0Haus @Vikinginsiders @JaredDHardin It’s not about being direct, it’s rude, condescending, and frankly reeks of used car salesman. I would never in a million years trust someone after receiving an email like this from them.
English

The response assumes you've developed a close enough relationship with the prospect where the email would be received in good spirits. Every prospect relationship is different and there are plenty of "Tough Guys" and "Boss Babes" out there with fragile egos who would take offense to this kind of directness.
