@Am_Blujay The lady in question is critiquing the character's costume choices, not the actor's actual appearance. Actors are told how to look and dress on set by the costume designer for the role they are playing. She is merely critiquing the screenplay, editing, and wardrobe choices.

@Am_Blujay Attacking someone's physical appearance just because they critiqued a film is a really low blow. She has every right to critique art. Rotten Tomatoes features film reviews daily, but people don't hurl personal attacks at those.

If these are the first reactions to Supergirl, I don’t even want to know what they’ll look like once more people see the film on Monday and Tuesday who weren’t “incentivized” by junket opportunities and a specialized meet and greet event. As a lifelong DC fan and defender of the brand through its ups and downs, I’m starting to get a little concerned. Early reactions aren’t everything, but when the initial buzz is this mixed, it’s hard not to wonder what the broader response will be once a larger group of critics and fan base weighs in. DC will always have my heart because I adore these characters so much but for the first time in a very long time, I can’t say I’m excited about a DC movie and that deeply saddens me.
