If you’re using Samsung S26 Ultra, it’s better to enable Privacy Display only for apps and notifications, not keep it on all the time. Keeping it enabled constantly makes the display look dull and gives a cheap screen feel, which doesn’t do justice to the phone’s price.

Hot take: If you are on a major carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon), and you are paying for your phone, you're doing something wrong. You should be doing the free phone deals.

@stetsondoggett It's not really free, when you add up the cost. Especially on single line plans, you're paying more for the service over the length of the bill credit period (24-36 months) compared to paying for the phone on installment and using a lower-cost service like Visible.

@theonecid I'd say the screen quality is pretty bad on the S24u and s25u when compared to the newer iPhone, pixels, and OnePlus.

@thesamuelnam Take it indoors and compare the brightness with the S23 Ultra or Pixel 9 Pro XL, the S25 Ultra is dim compared to those two.

Just walking and watching stuff on S25 ultra with bright anti glare screen is an incredible experience. Looks almost fake in this photo under direct sunlight.

Google's Material 3 Expressive clears Apples Liquid Glass UX. I'm sorry to say it. Google knocked it out of the park, best looking UX I've seen. Apple seemingly missed the mark. I don't think I've ever seen the Apple community so negative towards an iOS redesign.
