@Trolling_isart Even with privacy mode off phone is still pretty dim compared to the S25U

If you’re using Samsung S26 Ultra, it’s better to enable Privacy Display only for apps and notifications, not keep it on all the time. Keeping it enabled constantly makes the display look dull and gives a cheap screen feel, which doesn’t do justice to the phone’s price.

Survey about the Galaxy S26 Ultra display when privacy mode is OFF: 1. For visually sensitive users, have you already adapted to the grid pattern, jagged edges, and slight blur on this screen? 2. For users who are not visually sensitive, have you noticed any jagged edges, blur, or a grid pattern on this screen?

Hot take: If you are on a major carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon), and you are paying for your phone, you're doing something wrong. You should be doing the free phone deals.

@stetsondoggett Or you could save money by switching to prepaid and buy your phone outright. I wonder who I learned that excellent advice from... 🤔

@MatthewKeysLive @stetsondoggett Yeah If you got a single line prepaid and buying outright is the way to go. I manage 15 lines and it's a heck of a lot cheaper postpaid

@stetsondoggett It's not really free, when you add up the cost. Especially on single line plans, you're paying more for the service over the length of the bill credit period (24-36 months) compared to paying for the phone on installment and using a lower-cost service like Visible.

Banking apps can now see which apps you have installed and where they came from. Let that sink in. Install something they don’t approve of? Suddenly it’s “sorry, you can’t access your money until you fix your wrongthinking.” No court order. No warning. Just a locked screen and zero options. This isn’t about security anymore, it’s about control, compliance, and surveillance baked into everyday tech. Convenience was the bait. Dependence is the trap. We’re not entering a golden age of technology. We’re sliding into the digital dark ages.

@UniverseIce Uh oh "make the screen dimmer than usual" hopefully having that feature doesn't cause the new display to be just as dim as the previous display they used... The current and last models of Samsung the screens have been garbage

@theonecid I'd say the screen quality is pretty bad on the S24u and s25u when compared to the newer iPhone, pixels, and OnePlus.

According to Korean media reports: Samsung has decided to keep the prices of the Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy Z Fold8 / Flip8 unchanged, with no price increase planned for July. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be unveiled on February 25 in San Francisco, USA, and is expected to officially go on sale in early March.

BREAKING! Galaxy S26 Ultra :HP2+ large aperture ! will greatly increase the light input, improve the dim light quality, and improve all existing problems. The actual effect it brings will be the most obvious upgrade since Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.

@thesamuelnam Take it indoors and compare the brightness with the S23 Ultra or Pixel 9 Pro XL, the S25 Ultra is dim compared to those two.

Just walking and watching stuff on S25 ultra with bright anti glare screen is an incredible experience. Looks almost fake in this photo under direct sunlight.

Google's Material 3 Expressive clears Apples Liquid Glass UX. I'm sorry to say it. Google knocked it out of the park, best looking UX I've seen. Apple seemingly missed the mark. I don't think I've ever seen the Apple community so negative towards an iOS redesign.
