We are very sorry that we have let you down. We made an announcement on our Discord server and other channels like ILITY X community, zealy and linktree as soon as we lost access to @ility_xyz. The first announcement was made even before the malicious link was posted. We quickly set up the sub account @ILITY_Network to raise awareness on X, and many members from our Discord helped spread the message. This incident happened over the weekend, which was likely planned by the hackers to target the time when X support was outside of office hours. However, the ILITY team worked with X’s priority support channel, which allowed them to take action immediately once their office hours started. If you experienced any financial loss by clicking the malicious link, please open a ticket on our Discord server. The ILITY community still stands strong, and our vision and technology have not changed. We are currently in a difficult situation, but we are coming back stronger.

Gross Negligence and Lack of Accountability from @ILITY_xyz It is absolutely unacceptable for a Web3 project like @ILITY_xyz to allow their account to be hijacked and broadcast phishing links for 3 consecutive days without any effective intervention . Pathetic Response Time : 3 days is an eternity in Crypto . While hackers were busy draining user wallets , where was the team ? Zero Risk Management : How can a project building security infrastructure lose control of its primary communication channel for this long ? This is a massive red flag regarding their internal operational security . Disregard for Community Safety : Posting minor warnings on secondary channels is NOT enough when your main audience is being actively targeted on the primary handle . An apology after 3 days is too little , too late . Don't hide behind " Web2 vulnerabilities " to excuse your lack of preparation and incompetence .

This account was created at the same time as the main account to secure the handle. We weren’t planning to use it this way, but we felt it was important to inform our community as quickly as possible We have contacted X Support and are currently in the process of retrieving the main account.
