@Iowa_Recruiting Recruiting is a 2 way street. Addie signed thinking she'd get playing time but JJ gave all of it to Chaz, then Strem. You can't show your game w/o getting steady minutes. And Chaz is nowhere near the player Addie is.

This is a MASSIVE get for Iowa. Major upgrade honestly. And hopefully don’t have to worry about parents complaining about playing time

@lanocty @fandompulse Because Scott Bakula dreamed this up with Sussman and had it ready to go with scripts etc. a long time ago. They’re not doing it because they think it’s the very best idea ever. They’re doing it because it’s a decent idea and it’s all ready to go.

My insider at Paramount tells me that Star Trek: United from @_MichaelSussman IS going forward, but due to the current deal structures they have in place, they're unable to announce it as of yet. I'll note there is also an IMDB page made for the project already. If my source is correct, this is a HUGE win for Star Trek fans.

Rumor has it Justice Alito will retire at the end of this SCOTUS term (i.e., sometime this summer). So Trump will have appointed 4 of the 9 Justices. If you'd have elected Clinton in '16 and Harris in '24, by this fall there'd be 7 liberal Justices on the Court. Fuck you all.

The reports suggest Addie Deal wanted guaranteed playing time and Jan told her she couldn't do that. I am glad Jan won't do that. But Deal has to know she's in the top 6 when the season starts. Why is playing time even an issue to her? Because she doesn't think she can earn it?

@IaHawkFan07 @karlybird23 To suggest Jan didn’t play them for any other reason other than they were liabilities is to suggest that she’s not the right person for the job. Deal was given plenty of ops, TM chucked 3’s as soon as she was in, and Levin is nothing more than a solid defender.

Taylor and Emely were supposed to be a big part of the offense (that Jan can’t coach). Who knows what it looks like if they stay healthy. I would’ve liked to see the coaching staff pivot harder to Deal, TM and Levin to fill those spots as opposed to adding more to the starters.

@OmaHawkeye03 @karlybird23 We didn’t give them a chance because we worried too much about icy about hurting others feelings. Those three are all playable we have to have confidence in them and played them more early with not such short leashes.

@karlybird23 You’re neglecting the fact that Deal, TM & Levin are unplayable. Jan didn’t have the horses. Strem over performed for a lot of the season, but when the chips were on the table, she turtled. Jan has A LOT of work to do. IMHO Ava and Chit are the only surefire starters coming back.

@karlybird23 She gave all of those players run (Deal esp) and they all demonstrated they were not ready for those roles yet I'm sure Jan would've loved getting more contributions from them
