@PanosSarris looks like light scattering not phosphorescence

Dear community, the samples we obtained from a deep cave revealed a bacterium with a weird phenotype... it produces a glowing compound that phosphoresce (in normal light). Any idea of what species this could be?

@efrangedakis and I tried our hand at timelapsing actin during cell divisions in Anthoceros a while back too, definitely not for 3 weeks though.

Worth adding that these constructs and lines are great for looking at dynamic processes/development/responses to stresses, not just static patterns - my favourite being ERF20 and the re-making of stem cells

@BUCBotany @FernBPS Not that closely related to ferns either, flowering plants and ferns are more related to each other than lycophytes and ferns.

Clubmoss, related to #ferns not mosses. Looks a lot like #moss, though. Giant trees 350 million years ago, now plants only a few cm high. Around 8 species in the British Isles, mostly found in hilly areas. Under appreciated beauty! @FernBPS #clubmoss #loveplants
