@jordan65980785 Thinking about it, does look like the official communication was silent. EADT had a trusted source that tells them it was uninvited, Athletic then reports that like it was an official club released statement but counters it with their own source who has proof that it WAS invited

@ImmenseITFC Shouldn’t really be believing it if it’s not 100% fact, if anything ‘the club source’ has lied and I guarantee that wasn’t Ashton who as shown declined to comment

@jordan65980785 Tbf the reports do just say "Ipswich" or "a club source" when saying who was telling fibs, but as the head of it all, id say it falls on Ashton. "Ipswich" arent commenting to the athletic without Ashton's involvement surely. Athletic arent really ones to make shit up either
