In the face of division and despair, @Nigel_Farage’s powerful broadcast delivers a timeless truth: Britain has weathered storms before—economic hardship, doubt, fading pride—and we always rise again. Our unbreakable spirit, our proud history, our shared heritage—these are the forces that have carried us through the darkest hours. The good days will return. Not by chance, but because we choose to fight for them. Together, with courage and conviction, we can reclaim our nation’s greatness, restore hope, and build a brighter tomorrow for every generation. The dawn is coming. Let’s seize it. 🇬🇧💪 #ReformUK #BritainWillRise #HopeEndures

@LeeHarris @kateferguson4 Not forgetting cloud back up. I had a phone stolen last year and when I restored the new phone all my texts were recovered. This is bullshit.

@kateferguson4 Not sure they thought this lie through properly. Those messages wont just be on a single phone, they will also be on Mandelson's phone. Also depending on the app, they could easily be stored on a laptop. All of mine are by default. This is all complete bullshit.

EXCL: Morgan McSweeney's mobile phone with texts to Peter Mandelson was stolen. These messages may be lost forever - meaning there there will be gaps in The Mandelson files published by No10. Phone was nicked and reported to police last year. thesun.co.uk/news/38591267/…

Every single statement is a lie. Lies and misinformation are all our opponents have. Some benefits need cutting we need to get people off benefits and into work cutting all benefits is not policy It’s not Reform UK policy to cut the minimum wage but it’s clear that the large hikes to the minimum wage have badly impacted on youth unemployment. It is not Reform UK policy to raise the retirement age never has been. Fake news circulated in 2025 (e.g., altered screenshots claiming Farage supported means-testing) was debunked by Reuters and Full Fact—no such policy exists. It is not o Reform UK policy to privatise the NHS. They are committed to keeping the NHS free at the point of delivery/use

Today, I attended a pro–Islamic Republic gathering outside the Prime Minister’s office in my capacity as a journalist. During the event, I was attacked from behind by one of the regime’s supporters, resulting in a serious injury to my left rib. The individual who assaulted me managed to pass through the police cordon before carrying out the attack. Another individual, identified as Mohammadreza Zohrevand, also threatened to kill me and my family. Fortunately, both the attacker and the individual who issued the death threats were arrested by the police. Many of these individuals are present in the United Kingdom under the status of asylum seekers, yet they openly support the Islamic Republic. Their presence poses a serious threat to the safety and security of all citizens in this country. I have repeatedly put my life at risk to demonstrate this reality. I sincerely hope that concrete and decisive action will now be taken.

Al Quds march has been happening in London since 1981. Over forty years, a march organised in the name of a terrorist-sponsoring theocracy has been allowed to parade through the heart of our capital city. That is the indictment of every Mayor and Home Secretary who allowed this to happen. Why did it keep happening? Politicians were terrified of being called Islamophobic. They confused the Muslim community, the vast majority of whom want nothing to do with this, with a fringe of ideological extremists engaged in propaganda for the Iranian regime  What doest that signal to the world? You are telling Tehran; your propaganda works here. London is open for business as a platform for your regime. When I’m Mayor, there will be a simple principle: if a march undermines British security, I will use every lever available as Mayor to ensure it does not go ahead. London will not be a platform for foreign extremist ideology. London is a British city and it will be governed like one. Allowing this march didn’t make London more tolerant. It made London more dangerous. I won’t make that mistake. Freedom of speech is not freedom to glorify terrorisms.

Interesting facts 10 year payback time though, so it will be 10 years before the average domestic user sees a penny return on investment Most high-quality panels lose efficiency at 0.3-0.8% per year The average time UK residents (or more precisely, households in England, as the most comprehensive data covers England) spend living in their current property is around 13.9 years.

Two weeks ago we had solar panels and a battery fitted. We have just completed our first full week with the system. Our electric bill for the week commencing 10th March 2026 compared to the same week last year has dropped by 71% from £31.71 to £9.05. We also have not received our DNO cert yet which would allow us to sell back into the grid. On sunny days our battery has been full by 11:30am meaning we don’t yet benefit from the excess free energy being produced. We are now going to buy an electric car and fill it with free energy. If only all of the UK could do this, it would go along way to reducing the countries high energy costs. @octopusenergy @g__j

Every vote for the @Conservatives now splits the right-wing vote, letting @UKLabour or @TheGreenParty or the @LibDems win. The Conservatives are collapsing—stuck at 17% in the latest YouGov poll (15-16 March), tied with Labour and trailing far behind Reform UK at 25%. Other polls show Reform consistently at 25-27%, often leading outright, while the Tories languish in third or fourth place behind the surging Greens too. Reform UK is the only party with real momentum, drawing in disillusioned former Tory voters, non-voters, and patriots who want borders secured, taxes slashed, and the British people put first again. Don’t throw your vote away on a failing establishment party that’s lost its way. Vote @reformparty_uk, make your vote count for change, not more of the same decline. The polls don’t lie: Reform is the future of the right. Join the winning side before it’s too late. #VoteReform #ToryVoteWasted

In May, cast your vote for real hope and a brighter future for our once-great nation before it’s too late. Vote @reformparty_uk the only party truly fighting to restore pride, security, and prosperity to Britain. Reject the toxic hatred, endless division, and failed policies peddled by the left. They deliver nothing but decline, open borders, economic mismanagement, and cultural erosion. This is our moment. Join the growing movement. Make Britain great again. #VoteReform #BritainNeedsReform

The cost of government borrowing for 30 years has now surged to a sustained figure of around 5.57% (with recent peaks hitting as high as 5.585% or even 5.75% in volatile sessions during March 2026), far exceeding the one-day spike to about 4.8% that occurred under @trussliz so called “disastrous” mini-budget. @RachelReevesMP repeatedly hammered home that Truss’s policies had “crashed the economy” due to that brief gilt market turmoil and spiking yields. Yet under her watch as Chancellor, long-term borrowing costs have blown past those levels and stayed elevated for extended periods, hitting 27-year highs in some reports and triggering fresh concerns about fiscal credibility, higher debt servicing burdens, and potential erosion of her own fiscal buffers. Oh dear, what exactly has this Chancellor done to let borrowing costs spiral so much higher and more persistently than the episode she once used to define economic incompetence? The markets seem to be delivering a harsh verdict on Labour’s stewardship of the economy.

The cost of government borrowing for 30 years has just hit 5.6%, compared to the worst one day spike to 4.8% under Truss. Rachel Reeves said that rate had crashed the economy. Oh dear, what has the Chancellor done?

It’s interesting to see how different sides manipulate the numbers to suit their narrative. The reality. Working-age and children welfare (including Universal Credit and predecessors, Housing Benefit, disability/incapacity benefits, Child Benefit, Carer’s Allowance, etc.): £145.3 billion in 2025/26. In the UK 55% of total welfare spending is targeting pensioners. The average across Europe and the USA is around 50% To put that in perspective in France the figure is 82%

Does welfare include state pensions? I think it does you disingenuous tit. In fact unemployment benefits are roughly 1% of what we spend on state pensions. We can see what you're trying to do here. Wanker.
Matthew Elliott@matthew_elliott

The Government will collect £331bn in income tax this year, and spend £333bn on welfare. In other words, we now spend more on people not working than we raise from those who do. And the cost? Debt per person has risen from £11.5k in 2000 (inflation adjusted) to over £41k today.
