@ThorneZethus That's good! There are VAs who extensively research their characters and work hard to add the nuance in fact we hired a number of them. We're looking for people like that which is part of why it takes so long to cast people.

"I want everyone to experience the same work" Have you heard this before? I recall it from a famous creator. This is referring to works whose dub has major differences from source. Not just English but other languages as well. We're concerned about this for Roa as well. 🧵

@dsargent3 I have them listed on the keyframe documentation they are on keyframe 75 which is one that is being redone. I need to rework some scenes due to ... things that happen. Without spoiling too much.

For our own work I plan to look over any localized versions myself to make sure that these important aspects remain across languages. For other works I think getting the original writer directly involved seems to be the easiest solution. I hope people consider that.

Most works original writers are seasoned veterans who have been writing such works for a long time. Localizers tho rarely are if ever. They are translators and script writers hired for knowing the language. Please note this an across the board thing it's not just the USA.
