Ben McCollum will be talked about when blue blood opportunities become open. He was just on Pat McAfee’s show and was asked about the Curt Cignetti comparisons. He complimented him a few times but also said: I’m more of a Kirk Ferentz fan. I’d rather be compared to him. No offense to Cignetti, he’s obviously a fantastic coach” Kirk Ferentz has been at Iowa since the 1999 season.

@trenton_2024 Yeah, I can see where you are coming from, I wonder if you could create a seperate GHIN concept, without the number attached to it, which states your status to play. Show poor etiquette, get a suspension or something along those lines.

@IsaacShort27 Definitely an etiquette program or class. However the GHIN system I would argue is for serious golfers while the casual golfer plays socially. Love how golf has gained attention the past half decade however the game needs to be pure and regulated some way.

I like this idea, there needs to be a non-economic barrier to entry, maybe even an etiquette program in order to acquire a GHIN which many courses could require to play. Might have a better impact on the game from a grassroots level.
