with llms now it's so easy to replace a lot of @laravelphp packages with custom app tailored ones

If you're now designing or redesigning a website, this will help you a lot. I recently curated the best hero sections, footers, social proof and other website parts because I got tired of having 15+ tabs open (even with Mobbin). Giving it away 100% free. Comment on this post, and I'll send a Figma link to your inbox!

@TeeDevh I tried running my nextjs app for few month in DigitalOcean VPS it was pure shit. Spend more time and money trying to keep that app alive than if I would just used Vercel from start.

Why do people still use Vercel? You can just buy a $5 VPS on Hetzner and run everything yourself. More control. Lower cost. More responsibility 🤔

The @shadcn drawer is based on unmaintained lib github.com/emilkowalski/v…, also charts based on v2 for a long time now not upgraded. Is it just me or I would much rather have a more 'complete' component library than all the latest cli stuff released

A nice tip for improving @laravelphp app performance. Have Claude or Codex analyze your telescope data (the more data the better) through artisan tinker and generate a report. I uncovered several major performance improvements in my app in under 30 minutes.

@JamieBytebender @taylorotwell If you’re already using Forge with a DO managed DB, the main difference is a seamless management experience directly within Forge. Same infrastructure, but with a more integrated workflow.

Before I was proofreading every message, email 2-3 times for typos and now I add on purpose typos so it doesn't look like LLM generated 😁

@taylorotwell I've got a Laravel API and a React frontend. Using LLMs I can ship 10k LOC PRs on the API side with zero issues, but the frontend is completely killing me. All the conventions are paying off, kudos

@josefbender_ @shadcn base ui is great but llms still not updated - if you rely on them you will get a lot of code based on radix apis

Is it better to user radix or base ui with @shadcn ui?

Please please update the LLMs to never create middleware.ts in @nextjs when working with v16. The amount of times @claudeai and @cursor_ai are missing that and creating middleware or renaming instead of working with proxy.ts is too damn high

Was skeptical at first to rely 100% on llms to write tests but gave it a shot on my Laravel app, managed to bring down bugs by 40-50% in a span of 2 weeks.
