Full grown adults who can’t vacation, take a gap year, have hobbies, play an instrument, speak multiple languages, swim, cycle, skate, or backpack. Just a lifetime of hustling and trying to escape survival mode. These are subtle poverty metrics no one really talks about.

But seriously, is this possible? I does see people from all ova de place sailing into our waters. How possible is this is you have a boat? Do you have to seek permission to enter other countries by boat? Ent we regularly do this between us and Grenada?

there’s actually a specific reason for this phenomenon and it’s scary... the hypothetical is that languages themselves are independent, evolving entities who govern the beings they hijack. the idea is that we don't even own our brains, we’re just biological rentals for a parasite that needs us to keep talking so it doesn’t die.
