I’ve done four radio debates in the past two weeks with middle-aged, hard right-wing men and every single time, the level of aggression and nastiness has left me genuinely shaken. I can’t understand why they feel the need to come at me with such venom. Last night was the worst yet - personal insults and lies and the man was a Reform Party member. To be fair, the presenters have been brilliant, but I’m honestly disturbed by how normalised it seems for these men to treat me this way. It’s not okay.
