Filling out paperwork for Gars quote yesterday… one question asked.. “Do you sell to non-licensed grain buyers?” We laughed and laughed and laughed and checked no. Haha not anymore. 😂 Speaking of unlicensed grain brokers-December 16th was a creditor call for Agfinity with MNP. Did anyone jump on and listen? Shoot me a message if you like, I’m more than interested in what old Joseph Billet had to say. I hear he confirmed that renovations were done and trips were taken also? Yikes! 😳 I also heard “that he is claiming personally bankruptcy also”?? What did you guys hear on the call? lol

@BantrySeedFarms @ChristiFriesen Many good resellers and brokers exist. Though Agfinity is remembered as a 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘳, they went out as a 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳. Great buyers aren’t always bonded; problematic ones sometimes are. In the end, sellers, whether booking direct or not, should trust whoever’s paying them.

Well guys, it’s official. #Agfinity has officially filed for bankruptcy, she’s hot off the press! I strongly question the asset dollar value… I strongly question why the Agfinity Buyers Hub was switched to the correct Grain Gateway Canada Hub- and the mere fact that a previous Agfinity buyer can logon to the Grain Gateway Buyers hub. There are pictures and screen shots to prove this all. I question the FACT- there is photo proof that producer who was not paid, their contract is “deleted” from said buyers profile. I question the fact that Grain Gateway Canada contacted myself and had the audacity to ask me to “round up the agricultural community so that Grain Gateway Canada could help in making everyone whole, because they were ALSO hurt by Joesph and Amy Billet”. Kay. 😂 Those famous last words, sound like Joesph Billet speaking in one of his previous bullshit blog posts and the more convincing you tried to do, “that you weren’t connected together” only made me believe you all are connected. But you did acquire the platform-right? Cause how else did you manage to dig up my cell number? “We were reluctant to say anything because we knew we were going to be in trouble, we said we don’t want anything to do with you Joesph, we’ll take the platform though.” -Carmen, with Grain Gateway Canada, November 13, 2024 One day after Grain Gateways official filing was completed. 😂 weird again. So anyways, here’s the trustee information. ANY FARMER OWED MONEY, I strongly suggest you call and confirm you are actually on the creditor list. I’ve had one farmer tell me that they weren’t on there. I fear that creditor list is not accurate- hopefully with all the shady stuff that’s gone on and farmers telling their stories things can be investigated further. Domains aside, Agfinity’s trading platform might be their only asset and the test site does in fact have the GGC name and logo agfinitydev.bubbleupsandbox.ca/public/

@Wally_53 @FarmerBoy9870 @graham_s_letts @ChristiFriesen One key point of confusion is Agfinity switched from being a grain broker to a grain dealer two years ago. For 12 years they simply connected sellers to buyers, many of which were L&B, without taking ownership of the grain themselves

@FarmerBoy9870 @graham_s_letts @ChristiFriesen Just for my info! Why wouldn't they have got license and bond if they were doing big business, for their safety and yours? What was stopping them weren't red flags up when they weren't? I got screwed by unlicensed buyer too lost 100% of what I delivered.

We’ve been learning about their financial troubles in real time with all of you this last year. Hoping for the best for all the farmers, businesses and employees owed money

@ChristiFriesen @EthanKlassen2 Nope not for a while now , got a couple from the lady who went to Giddyup . I market everything thru local elevators now the only time I used agfinity was for some barley with 40% volunteer wheat in it and that was like 8 years ago. But once you’re on the list you’re on the list.

@KenStrap @ChristiFriesen @Agfinity A couple of years ago Agfinity switched to being a grain dealer, taking ownership of the grain they traded, and being the ones responsible for payment. Giddyupp will never do this… I like sleeping at night too much

If you called every feedlot in Lethbridge today, most will tell you they are covered till August and only bidding on new crop barley. But if you called every grain dealer, you’ll get bids in the range of $280-290/MT delivered

Oh wow, here’s more farmers on TikTok that have been hit with 90 days… not 52 or whatever the story is today. @Agfinity This is my story also, funds were deposited into Agfinitys account for my peas. And nothing from them to me, other than a text message from Candice, that “payment would be late”… lol they had my money in their account for 3 weeks by then!!! I did call the buyer. Same thing- confirmed that Agfinity had recieved my funds. I knew I wasn’t the only one getting fed this story! Maybe some of you have had good deals with them, and that’s why you’re offended about me speaking about this topic? It would be like a “false confidence” I guess you could say…This way everything looks all good to a few guys. Meanwhile the rest of us have been waiting for money.
