@dnlfarms I’ve had to explain it to ppl who don’t work shows… My summary… Try being socially ‘on’ for hours on end, in a public space that’s like a goldfish bowl. Talking about the same thing over and over again. And if things aren’t ‘good’ how that vibe hangs around the entire convo.

In the 90s my dad would take all 5 of us kids to Banff twice a winter. We’d go skiing, we’d go out for dinner. I’ll never forget it. We were middle class. It breaks my heart and fills me with rage I can’t do the same for my TWO kids 30 years later.

Commodity prices are one of those things you need to keep an eye on as a grain farmer But wish you could just ignore them and put your head in the sand sometimes…

@kowalchukfarms1 Yes-two on the Main Street of our tiny town. Shut down buildings, bought by immigrants, makeshift sign put up, then no apparent activity. Gateway to the country is what I’d say is happening.

Anyone else have buildings and businesses in their small towns being purchased and then basically shut in after and never opened? It’s taking potential businesses away from our communities Gotta be some shady stuff going on here?
