Thanks to @lsmoak14 for having me out to Socastee High School today to teach her SPTSMED3 students about simple suturing. One of the things I DO miss as a retired AT/teacher is the interaction with the kids everyday, so this made for an enjoyable afternoon for me.

@HannahChunn It is the coaches job to prepare the “next kid up” to do the job not ours! Our job is to protect the athlete from another persons decision.

@HannahChunn We are not hired to win or lose games. We are hired to protect the athletes that play. I have lost track on the number of times that a decision I made caused a coach or parent to be mad or made them feel like my decision lost the game.

The hardest part of my job is making the decision to remove a kid from a FB game, after taking a hit that disoriented him, and feeling like that decision cost us the game 🥺😩. It was a hard one tonight, my friends. #ATtwitter
