@DiscussingFilm There just no point in Chris Hansen existing anymore because there’s YouTubers who do it way better and don’t fake anything for the camera, Chris started it but now he can’t compete with the new generation of pred catchers.

@TechnicalHalo @ThatEdBoy117 It was the Arkham guy, I think. Paul Crocker. I was always making content regarding all the news at the time and I'm fairly sure he was brought on the game that late into development.

@TechnicalHalo @ThatEdBoy117 I wanna say that a narrative design director was hired for Infinite roughly a year and a half prior to release, so I'm confident you're right.

@ThatEdBoy117 I don’t think it implies that, there have been other campaign positions that have been filled for some time. Not sure if the previous narrative design director left or they just realized they needed another director to manage the increased load

@kelskiYT Halo CE was third person until it started chasing the first person trend… why are we pretending that each entry wasn’t inspired by something going on in the industry at the time?

Literally all modern Halo games are products built to chase whatever trend is currently popular at the time
Halo 4 - chased CoD at its peak, with more arcadey gameplay, custom loadouts, universal sprint, kill streaks etc.
Halo 5 - chased the “advanced movement” trend after games like Titanfall, Black Ops 3, etc etc, deviating the furthest from Halo’s core
Halo Infinite - chased the “open world” trend set after Breath of the Wild, resulting in a shallow, boring campaign. Also turned into a live service without the service. Bonus is that it experimented with being a hero shooter
They just have absolutely no confidence or creativity to do something unique with this franchise, and I’m not sure if they ever will man
