@Rizz0725 It makes sense for this version of the character but it feels too iCarly to me. I prefer more grounded displays of his genius. That’s just me.

I liked BND but I just generally don’t click with Spider-Man interpretations that have him inventing stuff like Jimmy Neutron while somehow also remaining impossibly broke. At least not in live action. There’s a weightlessness to that.
Tom Hollands best though, by far.

These movies are interesting because they depreciate in value when they’re not in theaters.
No Way Home was so hype on opening day but that movie is APEX BUTT on rewatch.

People only like Spider-Man 2 because of its fantastic script, memorable performances, award winning practical effects, great action, stylish direction, charismatic editing, impeccable casting, and iconic music and sound design.
If you take that out, the movie sucks.

@amazinggamepro Yes, but Spider-Man 2 is the exception, not the rule. It’s in its own class. Better to assess how close a movie gets to it. I hear BND is good. Looking forward to it.

Saw Brand New Day again in I really do think it the best live action Spider-Man movie. I can understand why someone could enjoy another Spider-Man film more, but as a Spider-Man fan this is what I’ve always wanted from a film about my favorite superhero. Also Tom is just the best spider-man by a long shot.

@ChrisRGun I get it but honestly meatshield was just a bit too much of a get out of jail free card and chainsaw duels just never even happened, and when they did you usually got gnashered in the middle of it

It’s also nowhere near as good as it should be given its pedigree and it needs infinitely better stewards.
