Anytime I forget the laundry list of awful things about Trump, I’m gonna look at this list. Incredible.

The Vice President is abroad campaigning for a dictator. The President is threatening to wipe out an entire civilization. Congress is on recess. This is a total collapse of American moral leadership — at a historic scale.

HAKEEM JEFFRIES told me that the upset in FL Tuesday night has led Democrats to targeting a half-dozen House Republicans in Florida, including MARIO DIAZ BALART, CARLOS GIMENEZ, BRIAN MAST and MARIA ELVIRA SALAZAR. Florida Republicans are getting very skittish about redistricting, as well.

Just going to keep posting this to counter the ridiculous bullshit until someone makes me stop. The Special Counsel investigation uncovered extensive criminal activity •The investigation produced 37 indictments; seven guilty pleas or convictions; and compelling evidence that the president obstructed justice on multiple occasions. Mueller also uncovered and referred 14 criminal matters to other components of the Department of Justice. •Trump associates repeatedly lied to investigators about their contacts with Russians, and President Trump refused to answer questions about his efforts to impede federal proceedings and influence the testimony of witnesses. •A statement signed by over 1,000 former federal prosecutors concluded that if any other American engaged in the same efforts to impede federal proceedings the way Trump did, they would likely be indicted for multiple charges of obstruction of justice.   Russia engaged in extensive attacks on the U.S. election system in 2016 •Russian interference in the 2016 election was “sweeping and systemic.”[1] •Major attack avenues included a social media “information warfare” campaign that “favored” candidate Trump[2] and the hacking of Clinton campaign-related databases and release of stolen materials through Russian-created entities and Wikileaks.[3] •Russia also targeted databases in many states related to administering elections gaining access to information for millions of registered voters.[4]   The investigation “identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign” and established that the Trump Campaign “showed interest in WikiLeaks's releases of documents and welcomed their potential to damage candidate Clinton”  •In 2015 and 2016, Michael Cohen pursued a hotel/residence project in Moscow on behalf of Trump while he was campaigning for President.[5]Then-candidate Trump personally signed a letter of intent. •Senior members of the Trump campaign, including Paul Manafort, Donald Trump, Jr., and Jared Kushner took a June 9, 2016, meeting with Russian nationals at Trump Tower, New York, after outreach from an intermediary informed Trump, Jr., that the Russians had derogatory information on Clinton that was “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”[6] •Beginning in June 2016, a Trump associate “forecast to senior [Trump] Campaign officials that WikiLeaks would release information damaging to candidate Clinton.”[7] A section of the Report that remains heavily redacted suggests that Roger Stone was this associate and that he had significant contacts with the campaign about Wikileaks.[8] •The Report described multiple occasions where Trump associates lied to investigators about Trump associate contacts with Russia. Trump associates George Papadopoulos, Rick Gates, Michael Flynn, and Michael Cohen all admitted that they made false statements to federal investigators or to Congress about their contacts. In addition, Roger Stone faces trial this fall for obstruction of justice, five counts of making false statements, and one count of witness tampering. •The Report contains no evidence that any Trump campaign official reported their contacts with Russia or WikiLeaks to U.S. law enforcement authorities during the campaign or presidential transition, despite public reports on Russian hacking starting in June 2016 and candidate Trump’s August 2016 intelligence briefing warning him that Russia was seeking to interfere in the election. •The Report raised questions about why Trump associates and then-candidate Trump repeatedly asserted Trump had no connections to Russia.[9]

Graham Platner: “The anti-trans campaign in Maine is funded by an out-of-state billionaire to make sure we have this discussion and we don’t talk about raising his taxes. That’s why it exists. I think there are like two trans kids that compete in high school sports in Maine? There are 40K Mainers who are going to lose healthcare because of the lack of the ACA extension. One of those things seems very important and real to me. One of them seems like an invented culture war scare to keep people divided”

HOW MAGA SPREADS MISINFORMATION: STEP 1: Tabloid with no sources makes something up STEP 2: Sister tabloid reports that tabloid’s “report” of the made up thing STEP 3: Fox News reports that sister product “report” of the made up “fact” STEP 4: RW influencers — paid by foreign countries — spread the clips as fact to sow distrust in governmental institutions STEP 5: MAGA elected officials use online propaganda to pursue unsubstantiated claims and tries to cut funding people rely on

FALSE! Murdoch’s New York Comic Book is laundering a fake stat from a foreign tabloid to attack a program that is publicly tracked and clearly working. CARE Court has helped THOUSANDS of Californians into care to recover — not 22. Even under the most NARROW definition (court-ordered treatment plans, which is one of many treatment outcomes), the number is 600+ and growing. This is not journalism. It’s Trump-aligned propaganda. For the facts & transparency, see the website here: courts.ca.gov/care-act-imple…

They rammed the car of a U.S. citizen teacher’s assistant in Chicago last October, then shot her five times. It was border patrol, same agency that murdered Pretti. Then they smeared and charged her with crimes she was the victim of. Same exact MO.

If ICE is so untrained and out of control, how come Minneapolis is the only city in which we are seeing these tragedies? Maybe it’s because the leadership of Minnesota is encouraging miscreants to break the law, terrorize the city, and impede law-enforcement.

Your state has the 7th highest homicide rate in the nation — over double California’s. Spare us the grandstanding over “enforcing the law”— you’re a heartless fraud.
Tom Cotton@SenTomCotton

The deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti are regrettable tragedies. They could’ve been avoided—& further unrest can be avoided—if state & local officials work with federal law enforcement and stop encouraging civilians to interfere. There can be no mob veto on enforcing the law.

No one voted for this. No one voted for masked federal agents in our streets or for Americans being shot and killed during federal operations. Investigate this. Prosecute them. We cannot stand for a system that ends lives instead of protecting them. That is not what law enforcement is supposed to do.

Lol this is him betting people won’t actually watch the video. He talks about the importance of speaking up and doing it with Minnesota decency. The only mention of trouble is good trouble - a reference to nonviolent resistance
Benny Johnson@bennyjohnson

Tim Walz just a few days ago was climbing on the gate of his mansion urging protesters to keep causing “trouble” and fighting ICE. An armed man just attacked agents and got killed. See how that works? Minnesota officials are fueling this.

Gun Owners of America says “we condemn the untoward comments of U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli. Federal agents are not 'highly likely' to be 'legally justified' in 'shooting' concealed carry licensees who approach while lawfully carrying a firearm. The Second Amendment protects Americans' right to bear arms while protesting—a right the federal government must not infringe upon.”
Emily Jashinsky@emilyjashinsky

NEW statement to me on the Minneapolis shooting from @GunOwners: "We are saddened by the loss of life in Minneapolis, Minnesota earlier today during a federal law-enforcement operation. Because details remain limited and facts are still emerging, it is essential that the Department of Justice conduct a complete, transparent, and prompt investigation so the public can fully understand what occurred and maintain confidence in the rule of law. Furthermore, we condemn the untoward comments of U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli. Federal agents are not 'highly likely' to be 'legally justified' in 'shooting' concealed carry licensees who approach while lawfully carrying a firearm. The Second Amendment protects Americans' right to bear arms while protesting—a right the federal government must not infringe upon. Finally, the Left must stop antagonizing immigration and border patrol agents who are taking criminals off the streets and play a crucial role in protecting communities and upholding the rule of law."
