The virus so powerful it could somehow tell whether you were standing or sitting in a pub.
• So intelligent it knew a Scotch egg magically turned beer into medicine
• So disciplined it waited politely until 10:01pm to suddenly become lethal
• People disinfected their shopping like it was a biohazard delivery
• People marched along floor arrows in supermarkets like religious pilgrims
• People treated cash like it was cursed radioactive parchment
• People cracked windows open in the middle of February to “blow the particles away” — as if the virus respected basic airflow etiquette
• Six feet. Not five. Not seven. Exactly six. Because pathogens apparently carry tape measures
Then — new crisis, new graphics, new outrage.
• Masks quietly retired for some (but not others)
• Arrows peeled up off the floor
• Cash came back from the dead
• Curfews vanished like a magician’s assistant
The virus didn’t disappear overnight…
…it was never the omnipotent supervillain we were told.
But the theatre?
That part stuck around in people’s heads.
The rituals.
The slogans.
The rules that sometimes felt way more symbolic than scientific.
History won’t just record the silliness —
it’ll record how human beings act when fear + authority + media + uncertainty all collide at once.
Mass behaviour?
That’s psychological.
And psychology spreads a hell of a lot faster than any bullshit common cold. 🥶🙄

For Anyone Looking for a Little Hopium…
Here’s something worth noticing, on the stablecoin dominance chart (left), we’re now testing the same zone that rejected twice before and both of those rejections aligned with major Bitcoin pivots.
First rejection → BTC rallied from $49K to $108k
Second rejection → BTC rallied from $74K to $124k
Now dominance is tapping that zone again.
Could it push slightly higher into the upper bound? Sure. But historically, this area has been where capital rotates out of stables and into risk.
And when you overlay that behavior on Bitcoin’s price action… Price has consistently outperformed whenever dominance rejected from here.
So if the “powers that be” want to take Bitcoin higher, the positioning is already favorable. Dominance is stretched into a zone that has previously fueled upside expansion.
Naturally, the only thing you don’t want to see here is a clean break of structure to the upside on dominance.
If dominance starts breaking above this zone with strength, it shifts from “potential reversal” into “risk-off continuation.”
This isn’t prediction, just a reminder that the structure here is much more bullish than most people realize when viewed from this angle.
Sometimes hopium is delusion. Other times hopium is simply seeing what the chart is actually showing you.

@Anbessa100 @RehderBen What makes no sense is people say use 10% of capital for entry using leverage but if you use spot and use 100% you are actual 10X but with a lot more safety.

What I’ve been saying all week - short-term pain, but our spot entries at the lows just demand more patience. Meanwhile, I saw lev traders on my TL go from $45M to zero today.
This flush reminds me of Dec 28, 2020 btw, and we had some great months after that, till the exit call in May 2021, around five months later. Check the dominance chart, look closer and inhale some hopium. We'll find out soon enough.
Lesson of the week: Spot is the way. Stay away from leverage!

Probably one of the most severe flushes I’ve ever seen on alts, I didn’t even imagine alts had this much leverage in them. It feels like someone got hit very hard and will see a large body float to the surface soon, reminds me a little of summer 2021. Good reminder to myself to own things that I am actually bullish on, and not things I am trying to shift on momentum. Some charts look like they’ll never recover, whereas some things look buyable for the first time in a while. When everyone is making hilarious amounts of money I am always tempted to start using leverage again. It is almost impossible to fight the feeling that you’re not making enough, or everyone else is outpacing you. Good reminder that fighting that feeling and avoid the wipeouts is worth it in the end. Check on your friends, likely a bad day for many. Personally, am concentrating my bags into the things I am happy to own for the next few years, and shedding the fat. Realised I own some assets based on not wanting to miss out, rather than on some actual thesis. Days like today are much easier for me if I think my bags will bounce back, and much worse if I’m losing money owning things I don’t even believe in. Don’t let a leverage blowup dictate your long-term views. The future is bright, good things to come, patience is rewarded. 嵐の後
