You're going to see more horror films, new filmmakers, low budgets that are upscaled with huge marketing campaigns, and a stronger emphasis on making sure the film is of quality.

Saw #Obsession again last night (Tuesday) in MI at an 830 pm showing. Whole thing was sold out. Mostly by annoying post-teen 20 year olds that didn't give a fuck about the movie & just wanted to fart around because seeing Obsession is "the trend."

Nope, I'm with the kids on this one.
The prices of used cars right now is absolutely outrageous.
Yeah, no one is entitled to a new car, 100%, but anything over 100k miles is going to be an absolute money pit.
Not even 10 years ago I got a Mazda 3 with 7K (yes, 7000) miles on it for 15k. I still have it. Same car now would be well over 20k.
This affects ALL of us. They want you to lease cars. Eventually, they want you to share cars. You will own nothing and be happy.

@JustinManeOff @therealKripke They can't even use the budget as an excuse. Half the season was fucking filler like an episode about the dog and a supernatural cast reunion episode, which is cool (I'm a fan) but not at the cost of the finale being lackluster like this.

#TheBoys series finale was perfect. The hate that it is getting is literally only from people that don't understand character development, story progression, or anything in that vein. They wanted explosions and blood and nothing else.

@JustinManeOff @therealKripke Plus look at the comics, the source material, obviously it cannot be matched entirely, but like it also sets up some expectations of how grand it could be. The show was absolutely a let down in its last few seasons, and especially in this last one.

A bombarded surface of the earth view from space, a destroyed vaught building, dozens of supes flying above the white house. The marketing team set these expectations not us.

For me, perfect doesn't have to be "best ever" - perfect can also mean those were the best possible decisions for the characters/stories.
Nothing technically is ever "perfect", but I don't think you could have ended things differently.

Yes. Homelander caused a sonic boom crossing the room in S1.
It’s a symptom of how much of a fizzle the big “scorched earth” fight was. They told the whole cast of Gen V to take a walk because three chumps in a trench coat could have Homelander on the ropes before he even lost his powers. After almost dying to some guys with machine guns hiding in the ceiling.
