Besides skill trees, I wanted to do something a bit more... special. I wanted to lock buffs for the ENTIRE server, very powerful ones, and give the players the opportunity to be greedy or grow the server. The big plans for Day and Night, and why I love modding on hytale so much, is that we will take abuse of the `/world add` command. Eventually we will have multiple servers, all fighting against each other. You might just need everyone on your home server as strong as possible...

Hytale WorldGen V2 Journey [Day 38] - I’ve finished the surface of this biome, and it’s really fun to explore. - I still don’t have the time to bring the biomes I’ve created to life, establish connections with props, and create an adventure at every step. - Even though I share these biomes with you once a week, these are just the ones I like; behind the scenes, I’m doing tons of experiments, and in each biome, I’m trying to focus on prop density and other nodes I haven’t used before. - The work is starting to get more fun because everything I do is turning out exactly as I intended. Of course, sometimes I’m not satisfied with the biome’s formation, but when I finally get my hands on the map and explore it, I realize I’ve succeeded.

Shan Kura Update 3: This time its just some snapshots i took along the way while adding details to the World. Shan Kura Wildlands are Landscapes inspired mainly by south east Asian Landscapes mixed with some Fantasy elements. Shan Kura can be translated as "Hidden Sanctum of the Free People" where Shan is rooted in Burmese language and Kura stems from the Maori culture. Just a little teaser on the Lore of the current project. This Weekend is Prefab Weekend so i will post some of the new structures soon.

I want to be very clear that we are not currently working on anything like create in Hytale. We are still looking at community mods and giving them better capabilities to get "Create"-like results as mods. The 2 new designers are working on the core game design of Hytale with our existing designers. This is exploring questions like "how do we balance adventure and homesteading?", "what is the progression supposed to be?", "how do we make the living world more immersive?", etc. These topics are foundation to having a game that is fun even without automation. @Prowl8413 is probably already working on a video about this 😅 We have a lot of devs working on Hytale that are not anywhere close to working on the white whale they are obsessed by yet. I think rendering, physics, tools, voxel tech, worldgen, npcs, etc. We have a lot of foundational work to do before we can unleash our obession and present truly innovative block game and UGC content. We are sitting on hot coals here waiting for the right time to bring you all the crazy stuff in our vision.

Now that I have the big shapes of my terrain working, I added props with the new system. I still don't understand everything, but enough to make nice basics. Now I need to put props on every biome. And bedrock under all biomes for security reasons! #Hytale #HytaleModding

Took a break from Wormhole Ascent to try out some Mountain Erosion studies in Hytale! The results look stunning and with ysampled loads quite quickly! Would love to use this system for rivers and as a part of a whole Natural Terrain Assetpack! #Hytale #HytaleModding #WorldGenV2
