What may not connect for you is HOW they are telling those stories. That’s fine, but we love it over here. It’s not a flaw to fix

@mr_mansury @AEW I think in fairness, you inherited this audio issue as it’s a day 1 problem. Mixing, missing cues, technical hiccups with mics. It seriously feels like you guys hire local crew per town for every major audio role, it’s that inconsistent week to week.

I’m proud to be part of @AEW and our team. Disappointed to hear the shots fired my way, but it just serves as motivation.

love talking about great theme songs/TV openings, but what I’m curious about but what’s a really bad opening to a TV show? interested in both openings that are bad in relation to the show, or just awful on its own terms

@AdamSacks Especially in franchise work like this, it's hard to imagine not future proofing every scene in that exact way. That said, I also know certain studios do shot counts (entire film is budgeted to only have X shots in total) which butts heads with this common sense logic.

@K_Knight Also why when directing things you don’t have final cut on, it’s a good idea to simplify blocking or coverage so that whole sections can be lifted without ruining the scene.

This entire thread feels like prime examples of how often editors are the ones that “make it work”. None of these cuts feel like the editor’s fault, but rather, the mandate given
