It's not looking good for WWE... FOX was disappointed with SmackDown ratings and cancelled. NBC was disappointed with SNME and cancelled. X was disappointed with Speed and cancelled. Netflix & ESPN are both disappointed with WWE’s numbers, and realizing that they overpaid. NXT will be streaming on YouTube because no one wants to air their PLEs.

@TheSDHotel Legends weren’t part of the pass they were the free tiers. This is were people are loosing the argument for me. Modern gamers have gotten far too comfortable with the instant unlock for WWE games. If you bought the basic version you still had to pay to unlock characters & arenas

Adjustments I'd make to the Ringside Pass: - If DLC characters have to be tied to the Pass, they should be in the first 4 tiers so everyone who paid for them can unlock them easily. - No recycled content. I think the Pass is a great addition, but it should only include new content. Putting legends from previous games in the Pass wasn't very well received by players. 2K said that from Season 2 onward everything will be new content, so we'll see how that goes. - Every mode should award RXP, including Online Lobbies and Creations. It feels unfair that players who mainly play online with friends or create content can't earn RXP to unlock DLC and other rewards. Also consider that from Season 2 onward, modes like Showcase and MyRISE will naturally see much less activity, while Online modes and Creations will become more central to keeping the game alive throughout the year. #WWE2K26

@Kephfas Ronda does not bring viewers. Mainstream media maybe but the second she would saying she’s wrestling again and is on AEW they aren’t going to bother. She’s not getting people to subscribe to an app or switch channels for 2 hours just to watch her.

Ronda Rousey joining AEW gives AEW some massive exposure in two ways: 1) like her or hate her, Ronda can pull in viewers. and 2) her match against Gina Carano on NETFLIX will give AEW Netflix exposure. It’s honestly a smart move from Tony Khan. It’s also a shot at TKO by Ronda Rousey. And I say this as a WWE fan.
