Today, it's beautifully packaged lentil roots from @WARC_SK collected at the perfect stage to see the honey-brown discolouration of Aphanomyces root rot just creeping in to the epicotyl. Some black root rot too on some plants likely caused by Thielaviopsis spp, TBD.
