🌟Rural daycare spotlight! Little Acres Learning Centre in Davidson, Saskatchewan, is an 80 space daycare licensed for 6 infants, 24 toddlers, and 50 preschoolers. With approximately 12 full time staff, the centre provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow while supporting working families in the community. After several years of nonstop fundraising and the extensive behind the scenes work required to open a government funded daycare, Little Acres officially welcomed families in October 2025. The project was led by a dedicated committee of local Davidson moms who volunteered countless hours to bring quality childcare to their town. NEWS RELEASE: Croptimistic Technology Inc. is excited to announce the release of two significant improvements to software products for its international team of agronomic service providers: SWAT RECORDS Web App and Prescription Exporter. The SWAT RECORDS Web App provides on-demand access to the latest version of the software, while enabling faster updates and the continuous delivery of new features. Prescription Exporter is a new tool that automatically takes existing recommendations and seamlessly steps into prescription file writing and exporting. The traditional process required significant skill and was time consuming whereas the new process takes 10x less time and delivers unmatched accuracy and consistency of the final product. Access to quality childcare is essential for strong, vibrant rural communities. When we discovered that majority of rural children in the Canadian prairies live in what’s called a “daycare desert”, we felt the need to step in. We are proud to announce our 2026 Rural Daycare Grant Program, an effort to help strengthen childcare options in the rural communities where our employees live and work. This effort is in alignment with Croptimistic’s sustainability strategy, and is a key part of our commitment to rural vitality and employee support. Our Rural Daycare Grant Program will give out three grants to chosen applicants: $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000. Grant selection will be made by our Rural Daycare Campaign volunteer committee.
