Also, this might be a hot take, but I think this is the best performance of her career. I know a lot of people thought she couldn’t top Euphoria, but she’s incredible in this. You can see that Zendaya has truly grown as an actress.

Where her technical ability might not match the others, she makes up for it with natural star power and aura. That’s something you can’t really teach, and honestly something the others sometimes feel like they’re trying to force.

I really don’t think racism has anything to do with the Manon/Katseye situation. At the end of the day, they pulled a cute girl from TikTok and dropped her into a competition with girls who’ve been training in singing and dancing since they were five. The skill/disciplinee gap was always going to be there.
