No longterm project reaches this year from Brad Holmes. Even down to the 6th rounder Skyler Gill-Howard who IMO at least has a real shot to get a handful of snaps per game. You can not like the WR. But he very likely is a kick returner/gunner/WR5 immediately. Only one I’m skeptical on in terms of an immediate role is Rolder, but he at least is a guy that could be incredible on special teams immediately. Maybe he gets onto the field more on defense than I think, but he does pretty reasonably project to be a guy that could start as soon as 2027.

Nobody felt the Lions had a solid OL last season; before the season, during, or after. But you know you possess the anchor in Penei despite faults elsewhere. Blake Miller was on bad OL’s at Clemson, but nobody I know there spoke of him like we do of Penei.Clemson had no anchor.

@IAgulannaLFC @the_det_times I would disagree. Brad has always targeted highly productive college players. Lots of starts, lots of production, lots of film to be seen. Take care of your body and the impact isn’t as aggressive as you think. Specifically at tackle.

Everyone keeps saying "well he has 54 starts so he's experienced" therefore thats a plus. Well have you thought the impact that has on your young body? I dont think he plays to 30 years, I hope he does. I think we downplay the impact these hits have on the body and just look at the age as a plus. Thats just my opinion

@NatSparbeck He’s a big productivity over a college career guy. Lots of starts, lots of production. You see it with most of his first picks. Penei, Hutch, Jamo, Jack, Tyleik…3-4 year starters in college.

Saw the body cam footage. I think Tiger’s a man in a lot of pain who (like many) struggles with managing that pain. He shouldn’t be driving. Take his license & keys. But like Augusta, like the Tour, like the PGA of America, I fully support Tiger as he seeks help & recovery.

Tiger Woods was driving while on Dilaudid??? I was given that the night before my surgery, and the surgeon even told me "you might forget to breath". Yet he was out driving while on it.

If this is giving Marcus Davenport, that’s a good thing. The Davenport-era was GOOD process that had a bad result. This Turner signing is GOOD process. Good process = signing a player with an Expected Value at or above their risk (i.e. $$$).
