This dog has been coming to the Nagar Kirtan (prayers) for the past 4–5 years and lovingly takes part. He walks the entire Kirtan route alongside the devotees — all the way to Sri Harmandir Sahib — and then returns with everyone. This video comes from Ludhiana, and it’s truly heartbreaking to watch. A speeding car hit this innocent dog and left him on the road to die no pause, no concern, no humanity. He lay there in unbearable pain, unable to even lift himself… and yet the world moved on around him. Please remember: when we drive carelessly, it is these voiceless souls who pay the price. They cannot scream for justice. They cannot chase the culprit. They cannot even ask why. Local caregivers rushed to save him, but his spine is broken. His life changed forever in a moment that someone could have avoided with just a little compassion. Let this be a reminder slow down, stay alert, and drive with a heart. A few seconds of patience from us can save an entire life for them.

Troubling dogs “just for fun” is not harmless it’s heartbreaking. Such behaviour should never be appreciated, normalised or ignored. Kids, youth, adults anyone involved in hurting or teasing animals needs to be guided, counselled, and if required, punished. These actions don’t just cause pain to the animal, they shape the dog’s behaviour, make them fearful, defensive and misunderstood. Let’s teach compassion, not cruelty. Residents from various educational campuses across India have issued a joint statement opposing the 07 Nov 2025 Supreme Court order on removing animals from campuses. Via @br_cse_iitb They explain that community dogs and other animals are already cared for, vaccinated, and sterilized by volunteers, and their removal would increase human–animal conflict by allowing unsterilized, aggressive animals to move in. Fencing campuses is impractical and ineffective, and government shelters are either absent or in poor condition. The signatories emphasize that coexistence and compassion are core Indian values and essential for peaceful, humane living.

On the auspicious day of "Kaal Bhairav Jayanti" 2025, more than — a thousand young people from Delhi NCR came together in Delhi to celebrate the occasion and seek Lord Kaal Bhairav’s blessings for the protection of Indian dogs and all innocent animals from the evil forces in society trying to destroy them. These young citizens stand firmly rooted in our culture — unlike those oldies who speak against dogs and promote the slaughter of animals while pretending to uphold tradition.

Bhimbetka caves, near Bhopal, India contain drawings of dogs, which are among the earliest depictions of domesticated dogs and date back to approx 10,000–7000 BC. Some shelters were inhabited more than 100,000 years ago These rock paintings show humans and dogs together, illustrating a long history of the human-animal bond. Our bonds with dogs are deep and today we should use scientific methods including technology to reduce population and their welfare.

A draconian order for animals! Indian dogs are being targeted by animal haters emboldened by this. They’ve forgotten that India is a nation of Ahimsa — yet their actions mirror those of the colonial rulers who once tried to erase our bond with dogs. The colonial hangover clearly isn’t over.
