It’s 730 am in Dubai. Potential Missile Threat alert.

It’s 1123 pm in Dubai. The alert just in.

This morning we received a “Potential Missile alert” warning in a live broadcast from Dubai - Residents of the UAE have been living with these alerts for days. Today, during a live show from here my phone lit up with the sound of pings asking us to take temporary shelter. I also heard the sounds of explosions behind me which were the sounds of UAE air defence successfully intercepting the incoming attacks from Iran. For a war reporter the most important challenge is to find the balance between communicating the gravitas of the situation and not betraying any panic-so as to not needlessly panic the audience. This is how it unfolded for us this morning. A few moments later all was well again- we were intimated by phone that it was safe to resume our work and so we did. Full coverage @themojostory

From Dubai, in the UAE at Ground Zero, today’s headlines update on the US Israel War on Iran and the larger ramifications for the Gulf countries and India.On 18th March UAE air defences engaged 13 ballistic missiles from Iran and 27 UAVs. A total of 158 people are now injured here, with six civilian deaths and 2 members of the armed forces according to officials. Since the war started UAE has had to engage 327 ballistic missiles and 1699 UAVs. People here are full of praise for the UAE government has fended off the attacks and protected the community.
