@YinzUp I also don’t feel as good about the line as I did a month ago after hearing how serious Broderick neck injury is and now no LG. If they take a guard early though I would be more optimistic

@YinzUp I agree and I actually think they’re underrated upfront, they just have no margin for error with Rodgers back there and that makes it really tough when they face good pash rushes.

Positionally speaking, this is just kind of what I'm envisioning for what a draft could look like in the first 7 picks, where you double dip at WR, get 2 DBs, address OG and DT depth, and then you have a wild card pick of sorts -- could be LB, QB, etc.

@Bhsteeler Furthermore all 3 of these teams were over .500 the year they drafted their new QB. They had a talented roster to drop their rookie QBs into and that’s helped them succeed right away.
Tanking and putting your rookie QB on a shitty roster sets them up for failure.

If it feels like the Pittsburgh Steelers have been chasing their next franchise QB since Ben Roethlisberger… they’re not alone. Out of 29 first-round QBs drafted in the 2010s, only three are still with their original teams: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. That really puts things into perspective.

Whether or not Kwan is the everyday CF feels like it will determines so much for roster construction. If he is, then LF is Valera and RF is DeLauter? If he’s not, then aren’t Valera, DeLauter, Kayfus all battling for one spot and CF is Schnee/Angel?
