@linzer_art @FishLuvrGirl yea I think most people use the sound queue! it’s the same for all heroes, so once you hear it it’s fairly obvious. That being said, I still suck at parrying lmao

@FishLuvrGirl apparently i need to go to the practice range and listen to this bc i had no idea heavy meele has a sound aside from the successful parry making the kaching noise. the sound was what made me master Exp33 parrying so maybe theres hope

whats the secret to getting good at parries bc despite several rewatches my brain just cant process in time that Venator is winding for a meele so that i could parry in time in that situation. is my reaction time just cooked?

@tess_b_tess @DeadlockAnon I think the issue is that the rank system isn’t real/is broken. People get placed all over the place, the only way to rank is win/loss, and it doesn’t seem to have a lot of logic behind it lol. The game being in closed alpha means it doesn’t have finished features

ranks are not real and anyone who treats them as real is a jobless bum who’s insecure about their skill in a CLOSED ALPHA game ranks really dont matter i have a friend who got placed in ascendant at 10 games played game's still fun though

@kiraigou @mokidoucette if you do burst properly your draws are actually timed perfectly for you to be pressing them essentially on cd!! you do your first draw during burst -you draw at 1m and HOLD the cards for burst, then your next draw comes up right at burst, so you lose nothing : )

@mokidoucette ok genuinely curious as someone who only uses ast in normal level content is it not better to use it bc you can draw for MP and use other cards? bc if you need to hold it for burst you cant use your umbral deck even if you’re able to draw it. if that makes sense💔

so this astro just uses cards on filler and then lies to me like okay dawg

@Bee_Zelbub @mokidoucette I have yet to do a fight that required me to push a card out of my divination window. Replan your heals, push cards a half ogcd, you can always make it work. I promise you it is a bigger damage loss to NOT use the card during burst than it is to do a little bit of extra weaving

@mokidoucette You don’t HAVE to keep the damage cards for the divination window. Astro has a prio list for two minute windows on melee; it’s nice to get both cards under divination but depending on the fight it just adds more weaving and a potential damage loss for the astro

@renee I mean I really liked the game, but you're acting like there weren't a bunch of other INCREDIBLE games that came out this year??? Thinking some of them deserved awards over E33 doesn't mean somebody has no emotional capacity 💀

If you played E33 and don't understand why it swept TGAs, I can only assume you have the emotional capacity of a teaspoon

When I joined FFXIV, I was shocked at how nice everyone was. I'd never experienced that in an MMO. People were kind, patient, helpful, generous. Lately, I hear of and see more toxic behavior. It might just be a vocal minority, but please try to be kind, even to players that suck.

@bakooljaja UWU for sure. It's absolutely baby's first ultimate. Go in on a dps and vibe. PF is kind of ass for this fight tho so that's worth considering. Otherwise, I think TEA is the easiest, most stress-free, and fun. Highly recommend either of these options for starting ults.

@Syrup_Fletcher @TiffanyMayCry There's obviously nothing wrong with not watching trailers, but if they honestly expected to go into a crossover for a game and get NO reference to the game that was on them. Everything shown was stuff you'd learn from a synopsis of the story/the trailer, not spoilers normally

@TiffanyMayCry Not everyone watches trailers or reads too much into key art, the artwork you attached here may not scream Ifrit and Clive are the same being to people who haven't played the game before, it could have given them flashbacks to aeon summons of FFX or the eidolons of FFXIII.

I'm pretty sure if Mojang announced an end update, with a combat update, new villager trades, and all the lost mobs.. some of the community would still be mad about it not being enough

you choose for yourself whether that boundary or that action is deal breaking, whether you’re willing to change for it, etc. If my bf was friends with a girl who was constantly flirting with him and I expressed it made me uncomfy I would expect him to fix that (and he would) 4/x

Ok but boundaries CAN be about the other person doing something. Relationships are about respect??? If you set a boundary, like say “hey drugs make me super uncomfortable and I will not date somebody who does drugs” that boundary does require the other person to not cross it
