It may lower levels but it does not lower it the the same levels as a woman, for one. Second, testosterone is not the only reason & may be less of a cause and more of an amplifier of more aggressive behavior in men. Third, if aggression manifests, the likelihood that I can successfully defend myself against a man (even one on HRT) is significantly lower than if it were an actual woman. Fourth, in sports lower testosterone does not reverse the physical advantages a man has due to his build, bone density, larger extremities & greater muscle mass ratio. Fifth, even if reducing testosterone magically reversed all male physical advantages & killed all aggression, that does not prevent a sick, predatory man who is not on HRT from taking advantage of the free access to enter women's spaces. I am sorry but no matter how you come at this, the bottom line i extremely simple. Trans women are men. No amount of surgery or hormones magically transforms them into women. Allowing men unfettered access to women's spaces and sports is an abuse of women. Period. Full stop.

@cski_michelle @Heccles94 First HRT does reduce testosterone levels to female range. Second HRT does reduce bone density and muscle mass. Third, there ARE studies that show correlations between high testosterone levels and increased aggression which is a significant factor.

Reduced testosterone make biological men less aggressive and more docile, which HRT achieves with trans women.

Awww nice try. If a woman is assaulted by another woman she has an even chance of fighting back. If a woman is assaulted by a trans woman (a man) she has very little chance of successfully defending herself. A woman is far less likely to initiate violence against a trans woman (a man) because, in general, violence is not our first response & we understand that we are overmatched. Violence is far more likely in men (which includes trans women). You could have a man enter a woman's space but, if they are not ALLOWED in those spaces to start with the response would be loud and immediate, likely stopping an assault before it begins. Pushing trans women (men) into our spaces forces women to WAIT until they are actually being assaulted before they can respond. A man's safety does not override my safety. While no one shoild be assaulted at all, if a trans woman(a man) is assaulted by another man, he at least has an even chance of derending himself. As woman we will not subjugate our rights, our safety, our opportunities or our identity to the subjective feelings of a man. If you want to call that "bIgOtRy", go for it. I call your demands patriarchy.

@spiredthunder1 @ClownWorld When you set a social standard that allows for staff to be paid less than working wage and rely on tips, then yes it becomes mandatory to tip. Unless you want to pay more for your food (most likely above what a tip would cost) then shut the fuck up and tip or don't eat out.

I have used my platform to support Puerto Rico time and time again and will always do so. NYC has just experienced what it means to have a Democrat-Communist Mayor. The policy of NYC before, during, and after I was Mayor was to remove homeless from the streets when it approached freezing. The incumbent Mayor has changed that policy. During the recent storm ten people were found dead on the streets. Isn’t this tantamount to, at minimum, reckless disregard for human life? Will there be any accountability?

This may turn into another George Floyd incident. The woman driver was murdered not because she posed a threat, but because an agent was mad she disobeyed his orders. Was there any probable cause to order her from the vehicle? Doesn’t look that way. Witnesses: this is murder.

@MatthewWielicki A tiny 1-2°C doesn't affect just temperature you dunce. Weather patterns are affected, ice caps are affected, air and oceanic currents are affected. There is a balance and once one thing tips that scale other things are affected.

We live in igloos, mud huts, skyscrapers, and tents across a ~100°C local temperature swing every year. But sure, a tiny ~1–2°C bump in the global average is going to end civilization because... reasons. The planet's thermostat apparently only works in a 0.5°C window. Who knew? 🙄
