Clean or replace your air filter regularly. Lint, hair, and dirt that gets through the filter end up on the coils inside the house and block airflow. The couls turn into a big clogged block of ice, that will not air flow. This is probably the biggest problem with AC's that are otherwise working properly. Efficiency-wise I like the outside coils to have plenty of space around them for air to flow, and be shaded. If the sun is directly on the outside unit during the heat of the day, then it's harder for them to be cool. Building a small roof over the outside unit can keep them shaded, leaves out, and water out. It's common for the outside unit to be near the house and water from the roof to run directly on to the condenser unit and fan motor. This burns up the fan motor prematurely and ages the other parts inside. ✌️

My electric bill is outrageous this month. But they discovered my ac had some issues and was working twice as hard through that last heat wave (it was set at 74 but the temp in the house kept going up to 81… even with the windows closed and covered). But I still have to pay that electric bill. I don’t know how people are doing it. It’s insane how high the price to live is anymore.

@Chesschick01 I pay the same amount all through the year. It obviously won't help you immediately, I took an average of the previous 3 years bills, then calculated a monthly payment that would cover usage through the year. It's basically over pay in winter, to build up credit for the summer.

Fauci didn’t just hurt the general public during COVID. He hurt faith in science, doctors, and nurses. Not to mention the countless people who missed out on health screenings or those who ended their lives due to isolation. Prosecuting Fauci is the moderate position.

I think my PSEG bill is made up. I am not home 3-4 days a week, ac set to 80 degrees when i am not here. 73 degrees when I am here. My bill is 3x what it was in May when i was home 30 days a month. Which means if I was home 30 days in July my bill would be 6x what is was in May. They make it up i think

What I truly miss about COVID is that I got down to 121 pounds. Hadn't been that light since 6th grade. And 135 before (muscular)that and 135 now(skinny fat) look completely different on me 😭 my own fault of course but extreme stressing about government tyranny really had me looking good
