Former LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier underwent tests at the NFL combine that revealed a cyst on his spine — the root cause of the persistent oblique pain that derailed his 2025 season, sources say.
The cyst was pressing on a nerve, causing discomfort in Nussmeier’s oblique. He has been asymptomatic since just prior to the Senior Bowl and all throughout the draft process; if that changes down the road, Nussmeier could undergo a minimally invasive procedure and miss just 2-3 weeks while stitches heal.
Either way, doctors say, there is no short- or long-term risk for Nussmeier, who is projected a mid-round pick in this week’s NFL Draft.

FIFA has banned tailgating at many major World Cup venues. This news comes at the same time as notification of $100+ for return tickets from Penn Station for World Cup matches, and $80-$95 train tickets for Boston World Cup matches. NYC's Penn Station will also be entirely closed to commuters for hours around matches of the international soccer tournament. And FIFA is now charging around $175 on average for parking spots at World Cup venues.

@Tman20rox @PodSaveAmerica Yes but the other party is so aligned with isrel they went to war for them so at some point you have to be honest about what’s happening abroad and at home with the 2 parties we have, otherwise his comments come off as unserious to most voters.

It’s not happening unless a combination of governors pull what many Americans would call communist/authoritarian and build rail using eminent domain. Over regulated private property protections and now the govt cant do anything to improve quality of life in any important industry

I read recently that the team hired to help create rail lines QUIT and went to Morocco to build a train saying North Africa is more organized politically than CA… the rail line in Morocco was completed in 2018

The California high-speed rail journey should have started with a line between Los Angeles and San Diego -- downtown to downtown. It's about the same distance as Rome to Naples, which is connected by a 300 km/h (186 mph) line. Yes, they'd have had to do some challenging tunnel construction, but it would have been good and necessary practice for the line to San Francisco.
