Not sure if everyone is fully aware of what is facing Andrew Tate right now. If the US extradite him, he will likely face trial in the UK, facing potentially 20+ years in jail if found guilty. Once he's served his time/been acquitted, he would be transferred to Romania and face similar sentencing there if found guilty. If not extradited, he will have to return to Romania to face trial there, facing potentially 20+ years in jail if found guilty. Once he's served his time there/been acquitted, he would be transferred to the UK to face his charges there. There is no scenario where he can realistically avoid trials in both the UK and Romania, unless he literally spends the rest of his life on the run. There's a strong possibility he could spend the rest of his life in jail.

TL;DR: Relax. This is shaping up to be Tottenham’s busiest and most exciting transfer window in decades. There is an enormous amount happening behind the scenes, both in terms of arrivals and departures. One thing I’d urge supporters to remember: signing elite players that their clubs desperately don’t want to lose takes time. These aren’t straightforward deals. They require patience, persistence and often weeks of negotiations. The wait can be frustrating, but it’s usually worth it. The important point? Spurs do not need to sell to buy. The club are financially capable of making two marquee attacking signings, with the possibility of adding up to three attacking players before the window closes. That said, there are plenty of outgoing conversations taking place. Spurs are actively open to offers for Vicario, Romero, Sarr, Solomon and Richarlison, while Djed Spence and Kevin Danso are both attracting significant interest despite not being players the club are actively looking to move. Latest on the departures: • Vicario – Active conversations with Juventus. Their goalkeeping shortlist is essentially down to him or Martínez. Fiorentina’s interest continues to grow also. Spurs open to loan with obligation. • Romero – Inter Milan remain very keen, while Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid all continue to monitor his situation. Won’t kick a ball for Spurs again unless something drastically changes. • Sarr – Interest from several Premier League clubs, as well as Ange Postecoglou’s Al-Nassr. • Solomon – Wanted by multiple Premier League and Championship clubs, with Benfica also in the mix. • Richarlison – Would jump at the opportunity to return to Everton on a long-term contract. Brazilian interest exists but no club likely to meet Tottenham’s valuation. • Spence – Admired by Liverpool, Manchester City and several of Europe’s biggest clubs. • Danso – A player Crystal Palace rate extremely highly. We feel they may test the waters here. Incoming targets: * Kroupi remains Tottenham’s No.1 striker target. He wants the move, his representatives have held positive talks with Spurs and discussions continue to progress. This is a deal the club are pushing hard to complete. * The club absolutely love Diomandé. If Spurs can convince him that North London is the right destination, they’ll move decisively. * Yıldız has been discussed during conversations with Juventus over both Vicario and Romero. Juventus insist he’s not for sale and it would take an enormous offer, but we continue to monitor the situation closely. * Savinho remains the leading option for the left wing. Talks are ongoing, although Spurs won’t meet Manchester City’s current asking price. * Nusa is admired but there are internal doubts over whether he genuinely improves the starting XI enough to justify the investment. As things stand, this one feels unlikely. * Even after the arrivals of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, Spurs would still explore a deal for Alex Scott if the opportunity presented itself. The club are aware Tottenham is his dream destination. The club’s view is simple: if a world-class player becomes available, Tottenham believe they should be in the conversation. That includes Julián Álvarez should Atlético Madrid decide to sanction a sale. Spurs have already used previous dealings involving Romero and Bentancur to make enquiries and establish whether there is any possibility of a deal. There is still a long way to go in this window. A lot of conversations are happening, patience required. There will be at least another 2 big incomings before the window closes and expect another 7-8 to depart. I’ve caught up on the cabinet comings and goings. Some ok, some a bit weird and then there’s Wes Streeting as Secretary of Defence. Replacing Dan Jarvis, an ex parachute regiment Major in the British army. Streeting failed to reach a negotiated settlement with junior doctors and now has to deal with Pete Hegesth and NATO. Call me cynical but he’s already out of his depth.
