Republicans want to sell the SAVE Trump Act as a voter ID bill. But that is not the reality. From requiring birth certificates to $165 passports, their bill would create expensive obstacles that would bar MILLIONS of eligible voters from participating in our upcoming elections.

@EdKrassen Another lie. ICE and CBP are already funded through 2028. What the Democrat “poison pill” bills do is to take away some or all of the existing, approved, funding for ICE and CBP. Not a one of the Democrat bills is a “clean” bill.

The SAVE America Act makes it harder for American citizens to vote. It hands private voter data over to DHS and adds costly hurdles just to register. We should be making it easier for Americans to have their voices heard and have their right to vote — not harder.
