NEW ANALYSIS; DAMAGE NEAR ESFAHAN NUCLEAR COMPLEX IDENTIFIED:  Satellite imagery shows damage at a site near the Esfahan nuclear complex that occurred between February 28 and March 6 (32°34'3.07"N, 51°48'59.77"E). The site is likely involved in the defense of the Esfahan nuclear complex and the main building attacked could have been the command and control center for physical protection of the above ground nuclear complex roughly 1.2km away (2.1km away from the underground complex). This site includes a small tunnel complex built around 2007. The recent strikes hit both tunnel entrances, one of which could have served mainly as utilities support in recent years and featured what may have been a cooling unit protected by a concrete defensive barrier.  Both features appear to have been destroyed in the strike. A probable command and control bunkered facility was also struck in a second attack between the 6th and 18th of March 2026, a connected underground portion appears to have collapsed. Wikimapia identified the site as Army Defense Unit Esfahan. The residential area next to it is labeled as Thamari Town (AEOI Housing) and it appears not to have been attacked. The images show the site before and after the attack, as well as the tunnel and bunker under construction in 2007 and the site’s location relative to the main Esfahan nuclear complex.

FOR ALL THOSE "DIPLOMATS" OUT THERE: More often than not (especially pre-1950) kinetic military action solves unresolved "diplomatic" disputes. Such as the UAE's long-standing claim to 3 key, strategic, islands located in the Straight of Hormuz: Abu Musa, Greater & Lesser Tunb. Iran siezed them in 1971 as soon as the British fled Bahrain, days before the UAE was officially established as a sovereign nation. Iran quickly militarized them so as to have strategic & operational control over the Straits. If the Regime falls, look for this dispute to be resolved with the world agreeing the UAE provides a safer option for the critical shipping lane.

The Esfahan Khomeynishahr Drone Production Plant produced Shahed one-way attack drones that have been used by the Iranian regime to attack targets across the region. The photo dated March 3, 2026, shows the plant before U.S. strikes. The photo taken on March 12, 2026 shows the same site following a barrage of U.S. precision weapons strikes - another major blow Iran’s defense industrial base.

Prior to Operation Epic Fury, the Iranian regime used the Karaj Surface-to-Surface Missile Plant to assemble ballistic missiles that threatened Americans, neighboring countries, and commercial shipping. The photo dated March 1, 2026, shows the plant prior to U.S. strikes. The image dated March 11, 2026, shows the same location after U.S. forces struck the facility with precision munitions.
