@BarakRavid I don't get this. ROE to torpedo a frigate off Sri Lanka (legit), ROE to shell a container vessel trying to run the blockade (probably legit, but tactically weird) and yet ROE just shifted to permit strikes on IRGCN Fast Attack Craft in the strait🤷‍♂️

🇺🇸USN TRACKING: CSG-12 Westbound & Headed Home Sentinel 2 imagery from today (May 3) catches the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) GSG pushing west through the central Mediterranean. Spotted CVN-78 operating approximately 143km East of Malta, flanked by at least 2x Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. Given the incredible length, extensions, and intensity of this deployment, BZ to the crew.

... and the 🇺🇸Whidbey Class Dock Landing Ship USS Rushmore (LSD-47) nearby as well

Look ~13km SE of her... Your neighborhood America Class amphibious assault ship, USS Tripoli, just hanging out (with a curious ship to her east)

I can't tell if this ship was hit by something and started leaking fuel. Maybe this is a us DDG making sharp evasive turns in the Arabian Sea. It measures around 145m. Too small to be one. Lat: 21.62264, Lng: 60.45605

USN TRACKING: CSG 12 in the Northern Red Sea Updated When you are working to complete a post but you see others post, you start to hurry (and miss things) 4x Arleigh Burke Class destroyers with USS Gerald R Ford. Its an UNREP day as well, appears to be a Lewis & Clark or Kaiser Class USNS vessel resupplying one of the Burkes

Mistake on my part... The article says Sulu Sea but the map on USNI has her in the Celebes Sea. Sulu seems reasonable given she cleared the Surigao Strait on 26 Apr early morning

I had her clearing the Surigao Strait the morning of 26 April 2026 based on a Knighthawk track on @flightradar24 from 00:38 UTC Interesting as to why she would make that detour (or maybe #AE2780 is assigned to someone else?) ... 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
