@cynicalbobby Why didn’t they ask where? That would have been the bloody obvious answer to ‘I’ve been stabbed’.

🧵 The death of #HenryNowak is tragic. I have very little doubt that the officers made a genuine error. I even understand why people are shocked. To all of those armchair experts who think they could face trauma and violence daily and always make perfect decisions well done.

WHERE IS STARMER'S SUPPORT FOR HENRY NOWAK? I've been saying all day on @GBNEWS – it just strikes me as unbelievable that our Prime Minister - who took the knee for serial criminal George Floyd – has not issued ANY statement whatsoever about the murder of Henry Nowak He's tweeted about Tony Blair - and Arsenal – but ZERO about the murder of a white boy by Sikh killer Vickrum Digwa. Why not?

JUDGE MARK MCKONE KC He allowed convicted paedophile David Brown to walk from his court on a community order despite him having 1000 indecent images of children and of BABIES being raped. The judge even told the defendant that "the public expect prison sentences in a case like this" but proceeded to give him a community order. Meanwhile these same courts are sending people to jail for social media posts. SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE!!!

@lancstic @NormanBrennan If someone says I’ve been stabbed wouldn’t the obvious question be ‘where’? No one bothered to ask him, or check, they left him to die in handcuffs, this is outrageous!!

@NormanBrennan Former officer too Norm, but let’s get this right. They were aware he was stabbed as Henry told them. Not 1 stab wound but 4. They decided to cuff him despite him offering no violence or risk nor did they ask where he’d been stabbed & then assess him for injuries.

Folks Many have commented on the Murder of Henry Nowak without knowing the Full Facts; Police arrived on blue & twos to a very fast moving & confusing situation & were greeted with a False Allegation & acted on that Lie; hindsight is a gift none of us have & certainly not the police; It’s right & appropriate that @HantsPolice responded with the full facts when they could & as were seen by the responding officers; we live in a world of the Blame game; often with minimum facts or accurate information some immediately apportion blame; @HantsPolice were unable to respond to the criticism during a live criminal trial due to the Sub-judicial law; ie you cannot comment about a trial in any negative way when it’s ongoing trial; so nothing was being hidden as legally they could not respond in anyway; despite the media reporting on the case daily which they are entitled on doing so on evidence given in an ongoing case; ie only the facts given in open court; Put yourself in the shoes of those responding officers turning up at a chaotic scene with someone shouting allegations (now known as lies) & not being aware that a man had been stabbed; they were probably acting on instinct as they tried to fathom what had actually happened; Have the public got the right to ask questions of this incident? absolutely as the police are accountable to the public for any actions that they take be they rightly wrongly or in an honest belief that they were acting in trying to protect the public & making split second decisions with little to no information all of these questions & superstitions will now want & need answers; The suspect here was Not the victim but in fact the Individual who lied to the police who clearly did not know that that was the case in the initial seconds that they arrived; they were deceived; What was the Immediate concern of the officers? that there had been a racial attack? & if so was that their over riding concern? Could they have dealt with this matter differently? & if so how? These are the type of questions the @policeconduct will now Independently investigate; Those wishing to see the Officers BWC Footage will be disappointed at this stage as that is with the @policeconduct & that is right we cannot have the Social Media Jury giving their verdicts on just a short video clip without reading & hearing from all of the witnesses in this matter; The attending officers have been subject of a huge amount of abuse & condemnation & that should be reserved until we know the full facts of this matter as the dreadful headlines probably haven’t told the True Story just the salacious condemning parts; When the public are told of true facts probably by @policeconduct then that’s the time for comments & views when all the true facts & circumstances are known; The person we should all be condemning is the Murderer; the Lier along with his mother who took the knife the Murderer used in this monstrous & pointless killing & hid it in her house; He has been convicted of Murder & his Mother of assisting an offender & I hope that they each receive very long & appropriate sentences; I also saw many negative comments of when the judge gave the Jury his directions; he gave them the offence of Murder or Manslaughter to consider; I can tell you that alongside every Murder charge will also be the alternative charge of Manslaughter; the first requires an Intent to Murder & the other is a Killing without Intent! The Jury in the end absolutely got the verdict right; that of Murder where a fixed term of Imprisonment is passed & I’d suggest that will be in the region of 23/26yrs as the aggravating factors are high & the mitigating factors are low in this case in my opinion! The Murderer will have to serve the entire sentence that is passed called a Tariff as there is no early release when a person is convicted of a murder! I hope my overview helps put this case into some sort of perspective! Thanks & God Bless Mr Henry Nowak & his Family😞

@NormanBrennan @StanFBee There’s no balance to this, it is just wrong! Even if the injuries were fatal they denied this young man kindness, compassion and dignity in his last moments by jumping to the wrong conclusions. Imagine how his family are feeling knowing their son was left to die in handcuffs!!

@HantsPolice Apologies now are irrelevant. In your pathetic defensive statement you claim the pathologist declared that Henry’s injury’s were beyond saving, that might be true. But you denied him respect, compassion and kindness in his last moments, that will never be forgotten or forgiven!

Since the murder of Henry Nowak there has been stony silence from the Government. Not a peep from the Home Secretary. Not a word from the Prime Minister who is normally quick to respond to deaths involving the police, both in the UK and abroad. Remember the spectacle of him ‘taking the knee’ over George Floyd’s death? He won’t even say Henry Nowak’s name. Henry’s death constituted a national scandal. An 18 year old, robbed of his future on a night out in Southampton after being brutally stabbed 6 times with a 21cm long ceremonial sword. Instead of helping him, the police initially arrested him as he bled to death after he was accused by his attacker of racial harassment. Henry was treated not as the victim, but as the criminal. His murder could not have been more monstrous; the police response more shameful.  So why has this appalling injustice been met with a collective shrug by politicians in Westminster? With the exception of a couple of us including Henry’s local MP, Jen Craft, it has not been raised in the House of Commons. I asked the Home Secretary to launch an investigation into the police’s conduct and a debate on two-tier policing - needless to say I was rebuffed.  The silence can be explained by the fact that most politicians are more interested in showing their supposed virtue by favouring minority communities at the expense of the majority. So they look away at injustices perpetrated by minorities, lest it colour the multicultural illusion they have that the country is a harmonious melting pot. And they ignore prejudiced laws and the conventions of so-called ‘anti-racism’ which lead to discrimination against the majority.  The trial of Henry’s killer, Vickrum Digwa, may be over, but the questions are only just beginning. Why did the police arrest Henry based on one allegation he had made a racial slur - something the prosecution described as a “wicked lie”? Why was Henry’s handcuffing and arrest considered a priority for the police when he was in a critical condition? Why do perceived racial sensitivities consistently appear to shape how the police enforce the law these days?  The police have now apologised. But ‘sorry’ doesn’t cut it. Not remotely. Heads must roll for such a catastrophic failure. The bodycam footage must be released. And the police’s “anti-racist” training programmes need overhaul. We can’t go back in time and undo what has been done. Henry’s family and friends will live with this forever. But his tragic death should be a turning point. A clarion call for the authorities to act in a colour-blind way - treating people under the principle of equality before the law.

@TheGriftReport Yes they were. And they got compensation and flew with another airline and dad tried to make it that BA wouldn't allow all disabled children to fly but it's only one that shouts bombs

13-year-old Mason Entwistle with Tourette’s was left in tears and refused boarding on a British Airways flight after an involuntary tic caused him to shout “bomb”. The family from Harwich, Essex, had pre-notified BA weeks in advance, supplied a doctor’s letter confirming the condition, and Mason was wearing a visible disability lanyard. They sailed through security without any issues. But at the jet bridge the BA duty manager blocked them, telling the father: “We are not refusing him because he’s got a disability. We are refusing him because there’s been a threat made that he has a bomb in his bag.” Armed police then escorted the devastated family back through the terminal. Mason was left sobbing on the floor repeatedly apologising to everyone around him. The family missed the first two days of their £4,000 Spain holiday and had to rebook with another airline. Were BA right?
