Math Festivals are back! Conducted a festival at Sycamore Hills Elementary in Fontana. Kids and teachers all engaged. Family Night had lots of families! It was a great event! @CAMathCouncil @SycamoreCJUSD Thanks for a great day!

@MsMessineo Reading through all the comments, I think there is little else I could add to their suggestions. Respect your kids, make your classroom a "safe place" for questions, make it relevant, and when you don't know the answer....let them know that! My kids loved correcting me!

I accepted a job today teaching 7th and 8th grade math and sort of an intervention class for 7th & 8th. Having lots of anxiety and self doubt about it. So have any of you ever taught a math intervention class? I have so many questions. #mtbos #RTI
