In 2020, the Toronto Raptors drafted Jalen Harris with the 59th overall pick. Harris played 13 games and subsequently got banned from the NBA for illegal substance use.
One pick later at 60, the Pelicans picked Sam Merrill. Don't tell me pick 50 doesn't matter.
