GP @WSJ totally screwed me over by unilaterally deciding to stop delivering the print edition in the morning and simply mail it to me so I get the news at 1700 when the mail comes.
I lit up their customer service reps who were like "we can do what we want, you still got the paper."

First Easter without our daughter home. She’s staying at school… and just shared that she’s likely not coming back for the summer either.
And oh yeah, our youngest leaves for his new college in August.

I've lived in red states, blue states, and purple states. Rural areas, suburbs, and big cities.
One thing that was consistent in every red area of every type of state, is that the locals seem to hate everybody who isn't also from their little area, and they Do Not Travel, even to other areas of their own states, unless they absolutely must.
Former coworkers, some in their late 50's, talked about only leaving their little rural town once or twice in their entire lives for weddings/funerals, and they spoke of those travels as if it were a 911 scale trauma.
IMO, there is a large population of republican voters who don't want this A.) because they themselves never travel and cop an attitude of "I'll never use it. I ain't payin' for it." And B.) many of those same people in all those different states are Wildly bigoted/xenophobic. I had countless encounters with people who legit hated anybody different from them, even the same people as themselves from different places. They don't want Anybody from all over everywhere else, being rocket-shipped into their area en masse.
