Steve Mulligan (He/Him) retuiteado

As a parent, nothing matters more to me than my children's success and happiness. It's only natural for parents to want to be involved and aware of what's happening in their children's lives. We all want our children to be safe and secure at school, and it's our responsibility to ensure that other children are safe too.
If the fear and misinformation deliberately sown by the UCP are causing parents to worry, it's time for us to come together and address these concerns honestly rather than give in to the fear and division.
We owe it to our kids to create a safe and inclusive environment at school and at home. For some kids, their lives depend on it.
In a changing world, it is becoming harder and harder to make ends meet, making it more difficult to create the opportunities our kids need to succeed. We cannot let the UCP continue dismantling the safe, nurturing, and inclusive environments that provide them with opportunity.
Once again, Danielle Smith has shown that she would rather destroy than build and divide rather than unite us. She wants to distract us from the UCP’s failures — crumbling classrooms and emergency rooms held together with duct tape, fighting with doctors and nurses, skyrocketing bills and a cost of living crisis — all of which undermine our ability to give our kids the life they deserve.
Albertans care about each other and stand with – not against – our most vulnerable.
Parents love their children.
And all children deserve to be safe.
